The first four weeks since launch saw more than 400 people register to use the site. Feedback has been generous and helpful. We are certain there are still errors for you to discover - please tell us when you find them.
Over the next few months we will be issuing a number of new functions and facilities. The first of these is of particular interest to family historians and those with an interest in Hampshire. As from the end of November a search of our secondary databases will also give results from Ken Kirsopp's database, which contains almost 4000 mentions of Hampshire millers. We are grateful to him for the gift of this useful piece of research.
At the end of November we also uploaded another 450 items, increasing our coverage of Scotland, Suffolk and Surrey as well as our first set our animal powered mills and related machines.
