As we depend on volunteers, Mills Archive running costs relate to caring for and storing the vulnerable records we possess. During February and March we are moving into our new archive storage area, part of which is shown in the photograph (courtesy of Luke Bonwick).

We need more regular help to make the Mills Archive a success. Although Reading may be too far to consider yourself as a volunteer, you can look at what we have got either from home or the nearest library. Why not consider making a contribution to this “doorstep” service? Please send us a cheque made payable to the Mills Archive Trust or, even better, request a standing order form and make a smaller monthly or quarterly donation. It is surprising how much archival quality pockets, files and albums cost!
